Bridge City waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They ended the year with a bang, routing the McCallum Knights 59-37. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Leading Bridge City to victory were Kennedy Campbell and Whitney Cunningham. Campbell posted 11 points, while Cunningham had nine points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenlee Putnam, who earned four points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Bridge City smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in eight consecutive games.

Bridge City's win bumped their record up to 21-1. As for McCallum, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Hutto the next time they take the court. Bridge City will head out to face Hutto at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while McCallum will head out to face them at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
