New Creation Christian Academy dropped to 5-4 on Friday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins at home. They came up short against  the Young Americans Christian Eagles, falling  38-14. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Crusaders of the  48-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in October of 2024.
As for Young Americans Christian, their win was  their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 6-2. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.3 points on average over those games.
 Leading Young Americans Christian to victory were  Ben Allen and  Gabe Campbell.  Allen threw for 336 yards and five  touchdowns on only 19 passes, while  Campbell gained 163 total yards and three touchdowns. Those  336  passing yards gave  Allen a new career-high.  Mason Sigur did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 81 receiving yards.
