Big Game from Jones As Saguaro Fell 30-20
Starting off the list is Saguaro's Marcel Jones, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jones rushed for 161 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.5 yards per carry, and also threw for 158 yards and a touchdown.
Saguaro is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6. Jones and Saguaro will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chaparral at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Taurean Hall stepped things up a notch to give Centennial the 'W'. Saguaro had no answer to Hall as he picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made four total tackles.
The win made it two in a row for Centennial and bumps their season record up to 2-4. Hall and Centennial will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Queen Creek at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.
