Connor Griffin and Co. Win Eighth in a Row
Connor Griffin was instrumental in extending Cherokee Bluff's winning streak to eight on Thursday. Griffin turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 1.5 sacks and making six total tackles (2.5 for loss).
Cherokee Bluff pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Griffin and Cherokee Bluff will head out to square off against Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Oconee County had to settle for second on Thursday, but Caiden Wood sure wasn't going down easily. Cherokee Bluff had no answer to Wood as he rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown.
Wood and Oconee County are taking a road trip to square off against Monroe Area at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Wood up against the Purple Hurricanes' star running back Jitt Carr. Will the matchup be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Cherokee Bluff Gets a Boost from Brien in 17-10 Victory
Cherokee Bluff picked up their eighth consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Brooks Brien. Brien was dynamite, throwing for 191 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.
For the year, Brien has thrown 18 touchdowns while averaging 218.8 passing yards per game.

Zach Weeks Makes It Two for Oconee County
Another Oconee County player making an appearance on this list is Zach Weeks. He made eight total tackles (2.0 for loss).
