Iowa won the last time they faced Eunice and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Yellowjackets put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp 19-4 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellowjackets.

Ayla Stollsteimer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits. Stollsteimer was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Iowa got a massive performance out of Andie Huval, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave Huval a new career-high. Allie Darbonne was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.

Iowa was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .690. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Iowa's record now sits at 20-8. As for Eunice, they moved to 13-6 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Coming up, Iowa will be taking part in a tournament against Holden at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Eunice, they will welcome Leesville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
