The Fillmore Central Panthers entered their tilt with the Freeman Falcons with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Fillmore Central secured a 57-51 W over Freeman on Friday. For Fillmore Central, this counts as revenge for the 57-31 loss Freeman walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fillmore Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Daniel Stoner, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Asche, who scored 13 points.
Fillmore Central's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Freeman, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fillmore Central will take on Centura at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday. Freeman won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Falls City.
