The West Feliciana Saints lost against the Fontainebleau Bulldogs back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. West Feliciana fell 46-38 to Fontainebleau.
When it comes to explaining why West Feliciana lost, one person who can't be blamed is Nevaeh London. Despite the final result, she scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Arieonia Ebbs, who scored 9 points.
Isabelle Chevalier was her usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with 8 rebounds for Fontainebleau. The contest was Chevalier's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Laderricka Payne, who scored 9 points along with 4 steals.
West Feliciana now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Fontainebleau, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
West Feliciana is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Sumner at 5:00 p.m. on December 5th. As for Fontainebleau, they will square off against St. Mary's Dominican at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday. St. Mary's Dominican will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 231st, while Fontainebleau is ranked 72nd).
