Broken Bow had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Boone Central Cardinals by a score of 53-46. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 42-27 victory the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2015.

Broken Bow pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for Boone Central, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Broken Bow will head out to challenge Hershey at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Boone Central, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Boone Central Cardinals duke it out with the St. Paul Wildcats at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
