You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Independence on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Rosa Fort Lions as the Independence Wildcats made off with a 56-33 victory. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 22 points or more this season.

Independence's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.4 points. As for Rosa Fort, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Independence won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Ashland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rosa Fort, they will challenge Coahoma County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
