Adding to the longest winning streak in 2A District 2 this week, Millwood beat Tonkawa 72-0. The victory was the 11th in a row for the Falcons.
Millwood took down the Buccaneers 72-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Luke Frankfurt was the best running back in the league this week. In 20 carries, he ran for 208 yards as Oklahoma Christian beat Alva. Thomas Qualls also contributed to the rushing game with 71 yards on the ground.
6-foot-3 quarterback Colton Lindsey of the Crusaders is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,549. He has also thrown 15 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Maurice Wright. The Luther star has 37 catches for 684 yards.
The Saints made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,720 from 2,832. The improvement was the result of a 35-7 victory over Chisholm last week.
