A Season-Best Effort from James Neville Leads Westside over Pike County
On Friday, Westside got the W thanks in part to James Neville playing the best football he has all season. Neville rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 93 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Westside's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5. Neville and Westside will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Rutland at 7:30 p.m. on October 25th.

Big Game from Iverson As Westside Won 35-21
Another Westside player making an appearance on this list is Kadiphius Iverson. He rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 115 rushing yards dating back to last season.
If the past is any indication, Iverson could be in store for another big game when he takes on Rutland on Friday. Iverson rushed for 175 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.3 yards per carry the last time he and the Hurricanes duked it out back in September of 2023.

This year, Sammons has thrown 10 touchdowns while averaging 126.3 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had two rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to seven.
