Del Sol made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Cheyenne, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Dragons were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over the Desert Shields on Tuesday. Considering the Dragons have won six contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on Sunshine Rivera, who went 4-for-5 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Cainell (Nelly) McNary, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
