Volleyball Recap: Prosper Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Prosper won the last time they faced Rock Hill and Sofia Winter did her part to make sure it happened again. The Eagles blew past the Blue Hawks 3-0 on Friday thanks in part to Winter, who had seven digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 17 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

While Prosper won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 26-24.

Rock Hill's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Peyton Parrott, who had 14 assists and seven digs, and Tiyana Bhatte, who had 16 assists.

Prosper's win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 15-16. As for Rock Hill, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-22 record this season.

Prosper didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Plano on the 14th. As for Rock Hill, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against McKinney Boyd on the 14th.
