Globe hasn't had much luck against Seton Catholic recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Tigers will host the Sentinels at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Globe barely beat Miami the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers never let the Vandals get on the board and left with a 21-0 victory on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.
Zoey Tulk made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Those 13 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.

Globe always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .524. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Miami only posted an OBP of .222.
Meanwhile, Seton Catholic made easy work of ALA - Ironwood on Thursday and carried off a 17-0 win.
Like Globe, Seton Catholic also got a great game from a two-way player: Brooke Zuluaga. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over four innings pitched. Zuluaga has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Scarlett Olivares, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Abbey Cota, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.
Globe's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Seton Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.
Friday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Globe hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .336. However, it's not like Seton Catholic struggles in that department as they've averaged .333. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Globe might still be hurting after the 12-4 defeat they got from Seton Catholic in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
