The Cedaredge Bruins entered their tilt with the Gunnison Cowboys with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Cedaredge enjoyed a cozy 64-45 win over Gunnison on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cedaredge also won the last time the pair played last Saturday.
Logan Tullis was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylan Brooks, who scored 13 points along with two blocks.
Cedaredge's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Gunnison, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedaredge will challenge Grand Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Cedaredge's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four games. Gunnison is on the road again on Friday and plays Meeker at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. Meeker will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Gunnison surely won't give up without a fight.
