Jefferson Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 27 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Payton Dunbar, who scored 39 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Jefferson Christian Academy's points.
Despite the loss, Mountain Mission still got an impressive performance from Ana Chacha, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. That was a full 47.2% of Mountain Mission's points, marking the ninth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gladness Peter, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds.
Even though they lost, Mountain Mission smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Jefferson Christian Academy's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. As for Mountain Mission, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4.
