Southeast Alamance scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  19-3 margin over the Graham Red Devils. The  win was just what Southeast Alamance needed coming off of  an  18-6 defeat in their prior  matchup.
  Tatum Shelton was a major factor no matter where she played. She  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   one  hit. Shelton was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-2.
 In other batting news, Southeast Alamance let  Kailyn Richardson and  Ava Wheeley loose on the outfield. Richardson  scored four  runs while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances, while  Wheeley  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tameya Pope, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-2.
 Southeast Alamance's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Graham, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
 Southeast Alamance will head out on the road to  square off against  Chatham Central at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Chatham Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 10.1  runs per game this season. As for Graham, they will stay at home for another  game and welcome Seaforth at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Seaforth is coming into the  match with five straight  losses on the road,  meaning Graham will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  win.
