Despite their loss, St. Charles saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Diondre Carson, who went 7 of 9 en route to 28 points, was perhaps the best of all. St. Charles didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against McDonough when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 57-53 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Charles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
