Basketball Recap: Preston Extends Winning Streak to Four

Preston had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They walked away with a 56-49 victory over the Pittsburg Panthers. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Preston's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Pittsburg, they moved to 5-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Preston has already played their next game, a 55-47 loss against Caddo on the 14th. As for Pittsburg, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-60 victory against Savanna on the 14th.
