For Hatch Valley, this counts as revenge for the 31-23 defeat the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Miah Martinez was nothing short of spectacular: she dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. She is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for four games straight. Another player making a difference was Caydence Roberts, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Hatch Valley's win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Hondo Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.
