Chapin is a perfect 10-0 against Jefferson since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Huskies will host the Silver Foxes at 6:00 p.m. Chapin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13.3 runs per game this season.
On Tuesday, Chapin got the win against El Paso by a conclusive 23-6. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won 13 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Addy Rocha was excellent, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kaylee Himes, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Chapin was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .793. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .318 or higher in 12 consecutive games.
Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four contests, Jefferson finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against Burges, falling 13-1. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Silver Foxes, who until this matchup were averaging 4.06 runs allowed.
Chapin is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.9 runs on average over those games. As for Jefferson, they moved to 15-2-1 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
Friday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Chapin hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .447. However, it's not like Jefferson struggles in that department as they've averaged .535. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Chapin's way against Jefferson in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Chapin made off with a 17-2 win. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Silver Foxes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
