Matt Callahan and Tyler Noble provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Irvine. The connection was good for 86 yards, the longest such play in Pacific Coast this season.
Austin DeFreitas of Woodbridge ran for the longest rushing play in the league this season against the Vaqueros last week. DeFreitas ran for 86 yards on the play and finished with 311 on the day as his team beat Irvine.
Corona del Mar's dynamic duo of Cayman Carter and Bo St. Geme proved tough for Beckman to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Carter threw for 147 yards and four touchdowns and St. Geme had 112 yards receiving. Troy Reese helped Corona del Mar's passing attack out by catching five balls for 57 yards.
Kevin Norman provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Northwood bested University. He completed 17 passes for 192 yards and three touchdowns and also ran for 132 yards. Norman's favorite target this week was Jonathan Albright, who caught eight passes for 66 yards.
The Sea Kings' Carter and Reese have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Carter has thrown for 1541 yards this season, while Reese, a 6-foot-5 receiver, has 41 catches for 617 yards. DeFreitas from Woodbridge leads the league in rushing with 1827 yards.
Rick Gibson's team moved up to 394 from 439 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Pacific Coast. The Warriors were able to make move up by defeating Erik Terry's team 35-7.
