Oakbrook Prep is 2-8 against the Warriors since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Oakbrook Prep Knights will be playing at home against the Spartanburg Christian Academy Warriors at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Oakbrook Prep has four straight wins, the Warriors have six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Even though Oakbrook Prep has not done well against the Crusaders recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Oakbrook Prep snuck past the Crusaders with a 57-51 win.
Meanwhile, Spartanburg Christian Academy came up short against the Crusaders on Friday and fell 31-20.
Oakbrook Prep's victory bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Spartanburg Christian Academy, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-21.
Everything came up roses for Oakbrook Prep against the Warriors when the teams last played back in January as the team secured a 69-35 victory. Will Oakbrook Prep repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
