The biggest upset of the week belonged to Sheffield, who took down 459th ranked Sheffield, 52-38. Dakota Vaughn threw for 46 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 92 yards in the win.
Otto-Eldred moved up to 533 from 563 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Allegheny Mountain - Northern. The Terrors were able to make the jump by beating the Wolverines 52-38.
Port Allegany's dynamic duo of Matt Bodamer and Tyce Miller proved tough for Smethport to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Bodamer threw for 253 yards and three touchdowns and Miller had 93 yards receiving. Trey Miller helped Port Allegany's passing attack out by catching two balls for 68 yards.
Sam Colebert was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 136 yards on 18 carries as Otto-Eldred defeated the Hubbers. Jake Wichert also contributed to the rushing game with 127 yards on the ground.
Port Allegany's Bodamer and Nick Conway have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Bodamer has thrown for 1897 yards this season, while Conway, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 32 catches for 663 yards. Smethport's Clay Schuler leads the league in rushing yards with 641.
Michael Bodamer's team's Bodamer is within 103 passing yards of surpassing 2,000 on the season coming into this week's game against Sheffield.
A big matchup in Allegheny Mountain - Northern this week will be when the Gators take on Bryan Gould's team. Port Allegany is currently in first, while the Wolverines are in third.
The Gators extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Jim Berlin's team, 48-0. The win marks sixth in a row for the Port Allegany.
