Hauser had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Rising Sun Shiners get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Saturday. The Jets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by six runs or more this season.

Karson Stuckey and R.J. Foster did most of the damage at the plate: Stuckey went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double, while Foster went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits Stuckey has posted since back in May of 2024.

The victory (which was Hauser's 13th in a row) raised their record to 18-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Rising Sun, they moved to 9-12 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Hauser didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-1 victory against Oldenburg Academy on the 2nd. Rising Sun does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
