 If South Pointe beats Olympic with four  goals on Thursday, it's going to be the  team's new lucky number: they've won their past two  contests with that exact score. Everything went South Pointe's way against York on Tuesday as South Pointe made off with  a  4-0 victory. It was an even better day for  Kailyn Kirsch as  she scored three goals for  her team.
 Meanwhile, Olympic was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight  defeat. They fell victim to a  rough 9-0 loss at the hands of South Mecklenburg.
 The  win  made it two in a row for South Pointe and  bumps their season record up to 6-7. As for Olympic, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.
 South Pointe was able to grind out a solid  victory over Olympic when the teams last played  back in April of 2023, winning  3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Pointe since the  squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
