They and the Rams were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered an agonizing 23-22 defeat. Twelve Bridges' defeat signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.
Casa Roble's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Connor Campbell led the charge by rushing for 79 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, while also throwing for 126 yards and a touchdown. Braylen Blevins was another key contributor, gaining 103 total yards and a touchdown.
Twelve Bridges' loss dropped their record down to 12-1. As for Casa Roble, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.
Twelve Bridges does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Casa Roble will head out on the road to face off against Soquel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Soquel is on a four-game streak of home wins, Casa Roble a nine-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field.
