Trevor Schnirel was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He struck out 12 batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and nine unearned) runs off five hits. Schnirel was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Carver A&T got a big performance out of Mason Wehrheim, who scored a run and stole four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
