When it comes to explaining why Jacksonville Christian Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jesse Gannaway. Despite the final result, he scored 38 points along with four steals. Gannaway scored a full 66.7% of Jacksonville Christian Academy's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Noah Lee, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Wellborn's win bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-11.
