The Panthers scaled the state rankings by moving to 214 from 329 this week, the biggest jump in Western Illinois Valley - North. Central was able to move up by besting the Hornets 27-6.
Matt Parker was a passing and rushing force as Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia bested Illinois School for the Deaf.
Cole Phillips put up the best numbers in passing as Brad Dixon's team topped Brown County. He finished with 2 completions for 14 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Central's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Phillips has thrown for 133 yards and 5 touchdowns this season, while Kramberg has 2 catches for 95 yards.
As it stands, the Panthers are in first, while Routt Catholic is in fifth.
