The Ben Lippen Falcons will take on the Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Ben Lippen sitting on six straight wins and Hilton Head Christian Academy on four.
Ben Lippen picked up another tournament win back in April. Everything went their way against American Leadership Academy as they made off with a 12-2 victory. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Cooper Brewer looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on David McElveen, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Cash Kubicek, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
Ben Lippen was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as American Leadership Academy only posted a batting average of .130.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Wednesday Hilton Head Christian Academy sidestepped Cardinal Newman for a 3-2 win.
Hayden Brooks made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.
In other batting news, Roman Colella was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Slaide Burd, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Hilton Head Christian Academy's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-8. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Ben Lippen, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.
Ben Lippen took their win against Hilton Head Christian Academy when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 14-8 score. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
