The Workman Lobos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 24 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 66-41 margin over Garden Grove. The victory was nothing new for Workman as they're now sitting on five straight.
Aaron Hernandez was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 13 steals. The match was his 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Luis Saenz, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and five blocks.
Workman's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Garden Grove, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
Workman will be home for the holidays to greet Walnut at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Garden Grove, they will head out on the road to face off against El Dorado at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in El Dorado's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven matchups.
