Jeanarion Kamga Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Westside got the W thanks in part to Jeanarion Kamga playing the best football he has all season. Kamga rushed for 250 yards and four touchdowns on only 13 carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 89-yard run.
The win for Westside keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Kamga and Westside will look to defend their home field on Friday against Harlem at 7:30 p.m.

West Laurens found a leader in Ty Cummings as the team took down Academy of Richmond County on Friday. Cummings did his part (and then some), rushing for 177 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries for the 'W'. His longest rush was for an incredible 92 yards.
West Laurens' victory bumped their record up to 5-1. They and Hephzibah are set to duel on Friday.

Davis Made His Presence Known in Harlem's 12-7 Defeat
Harlem was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Baylor Davis did his best to prevent it. Davis was dynamite, making 14 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
Unfortunately for Aquinas, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Davis. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Davis saw the Fightin' Irish), he made 14 total tackles (1.0 for loss).

Shannon Adkins Makes It Two for West Laurens
The second West Laurens player making an appearance here is Shannon Adkins, and for good reason. He rushed for 33 yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making six total tackles.
On the season, Adkins has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 21.2 rushing yards per game.
