Gus Sayre put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out five batters over four innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
