 Even though they lost, Falcon  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with nine  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as The Classical Academy only tossed four.
 Meanwhile, Sand Creek never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against Sierra as Sand Creek made off with  a  20-0 victory. That's two games straight that Sand Creek has won by  exactly 20  runs.
 Sand Creek got a  massive  performance out of  Avyn Walter, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.  Emmanuel Rodriguez was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Falcon's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 11-4. As for Sand Creek,  the  win  got them back to even at 8-8-1.
 The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Falcon has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 10.1  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Sand Creek struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 8.1. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
