Rushville-Industry is 0-3 against Quincy Notre Dame since February of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Rushville-Industry Rockets will head out on the road to take on the Quincy Notre Dame Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Rushville-Industry didn't have too much trouble with West Prairie on the road as they won 63-47. The victory was just what Rushville-Industry needed coming off of a 71-40 loss in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Quincy Notre Dame beat Liberty 59-52 on Friday. Given Quincy Notre Dame's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 169th, while Liberty is ranked 502nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Rushville-Industry is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-14 record this season. As for Quincy Notre Dame, they pushed their record up to 15-9 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Rushville-Industry was dealt a bruising 78-41 loss at the hands of Quincy Notre Dame in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Rushville-Industry avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
