The Loris Lions waltzed into their match on Tuesday with seven straight wins but they left with eight. They blew past Aynor 60-38. Loris has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 22 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Loris to victory, but perhaps none more so than KHALID SHERMAN, who scored eight points along with three steals. SHERMAN has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was TYLER BROWN, who scored five points along with three steals.
Loris has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Aynor, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Loris will face off against Dillon at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Dillon will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive. As for Aynor, they will head out on the road to challenge Manning at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Manning presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Aynor in South Carolina (Manning is ranked 120th, while Aynor is ranked 284th).
