The White Longhorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 26 points or more this season. They blew past Adamson, posting a 96-32 victory on the road. Given White's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while Adamson is ranked 1301st), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead White to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ben Price, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. Those 12 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Ambrose Carter was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
White's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 91.5 points per game. As for Adamson, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.
Coincidentally, White and Adamson will both be playing Wilson the next time they take the court. White will head out to face Wilson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Adamson will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
