Aragon has gone 8-2 against San Mateo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Dons will venture away from home to take on the Bearcats at 4:00 p.m. Aragon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

Last Thursday, Aragon came up short against Woodside and fell 7-4.

Destiny Garcia was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Mukherjee, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when San Mateo took on Presentation on Saturday. The Bearcats blew past the Panthers 7-0.

Demi Alfonso was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Aliyah Scheller, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

San Mateo is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Aragon, they dropped their record down to 6-9 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Aragon hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .355. However, it's not like San Mateo struggles in that department as they've averaged .361. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Aragon skirted past San Mateo 8-7 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will the Dons repeat their success, or do the Bearcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
