Grace Academy has gone 8-2 against Cumberland Valley Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Knights will be playing at home against the Blazers at 4:30 p.m. Grace Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.
Grace Academy gave up the first runs on Wednesday, but they didn't let that get them down. Everything went their way against Calvary Christian Academy as they made off with a 17-2 win. The Knights haven't had any issues with Calvary Christian Academy recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Austin Sweeney spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up seven Ks. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Grace Academy is 4-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 1-5 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Grace Academy let Lawson Aikens and Denton Bible run wild. Aikens went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Bible went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs Bible has posted since back in March of 2024. Andrew Ingram was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with four runs.
Grace Academy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Calvary Christian Academy struck out seven times.
Meanwhile, Cumberland Valley Christian came up short against Heritage Academy last Tuesday, falling 17-4. The Blazers have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.
Cumberland Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Grace Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
Grace Academy took their victory against Cumberland Valley Christian when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 13-1 score. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Blazers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
