Several Indians players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kenadie Schrock, who scored 7 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals. Schrock has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicki Byrne, who scored 6 points.
NorthWood got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kinzee Hartman out in front who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Megan Yoder, who scored 8 points along with 5 assists.
South Bend St. Joseph has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for NorthWood, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
South Bend St. Joseph will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Marquette Catholic at 7:30 p.m. Marquette Catholic is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for NorthWood, they will square off against Mishawaka at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
