The Lake Region Christian Hornets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 29-6 walloping at the hands of Faith Christian Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lake Region Christian has scored all season.
Ava Erickson was Lake Region Christian's leading scorer, having posted three points.
Annalis Benson held things down on the boards with four rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with an assist.
Lake Region Christian has not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season. As for Faith Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
Lake Region Christian and Valley Christian Academy will face off at 8:00 a.m. on January 27th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Valley Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday. Faith Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Cornerstone Family at 6:30 p.m. on February 1st.
