After losing to Winters Mill the last time they met, South Carroll decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. South Carroll came out on top in a nail-biter against Winters Mill, sneaking past 28-26. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
The win bumped South Carroll's record up to 3-2. The loss dropped Winters Mill's record to 1-5.
Next week South Carroll take on Liberty at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams are tiptoeing into their matchup after sneaking past their previous opponents. Winters Mill will be staying on the road, facing off against Watkins Mill. Winters Mill stagger into the contest hobbled by five consecutive losses while Watkins Mill skip in buoyed by four consecutive wins.
