Given Hampton Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while Denbigh Baptist Christian is ranked 292nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Greenbrier Christian Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took down Broadwater Academy 62-48.
Hampton Christian Academy's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.9 points. As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
Everything came up roses for Hampton Christian Academy against Greenbrier Christian Academy when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 75-36 win.
