Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Thornton Academy). They blew past the Marshwood Hawks 19-7 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Trojans have posted against the Hawks since May 20, 2015.
Theresa Eng was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. Allison Marines also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Thornton Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .575. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Thornton Academy moved to 3-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Marshwood, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
