The Calistoga Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Victory Christian Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Calistoga knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five games -- so hopefully the Eagles like a good challenge.
In what's become a running theme this season, Calistoga gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Technology 57-35.
Calistoga found their leader in underclassman Diego Perez, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Perez has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Will Ulloa, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Victory Christian Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 58-25 victory over North Bay Christian Academy at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Victory Christian Academy has managed all season.
Calistoga is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for Victory Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-12.
Everything came up roses for Calistoga against the Eagles in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 62-18 victory. With Calistoga ahead 39-10 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
