Lone Peak lost against Jefferson back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lone Peak Big Horns fell 57-48 to the Jefferson Panthers. The Big Horns' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Wyatt Geier was the offensive standout of the game as he shot 75% from the field on his way to 18 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in field goal percentage. Kellen Meredith was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Lone Peak's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Jefferson, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Lone Peak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jefferson, they will square off against St. Labre Indian Catholic at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Jefferson will be up against St. Labre Indian Catholic's rather soft defense (which has allowed 65.83 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
