A Season-Best Effort from Logan Dent Leads Salem over Charlestown
On Friday, Salem got the W thanks in part to Logan Dent playing the best football he has all season. Dent rushed for 231 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made a tackle.
Dent might have his next game, a road matchup with West Washington, circled on his calendar. When Dent last faced the Senators back in October of 2023, he rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.

Adam Mull Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Adam Mull produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Salem to the win on Friday. Mull rushed for 118 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 76 yards.
Mull and Salem will face off against West Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Senators, probably because Mull had a solid game then too: he rushed for 30 yards and three touchdowns. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Charlestown came up short on Friday despite Ryan Shields delivering his best game to date. Shields rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.
Charlestown is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. Shields and Charlestown will look to defend their home field on Friday against Eastern at 7:00 p.m.

Boomer Hester Makes It Two for Charlestown
Keeping Shields company is Boomer Hester, a fellow Charlestown player. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 121 rushing yards dating back to last season.
