Softball Recap: Olympus Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Olympus can now relate to. They came up short against the Box Elder Bees on Wednesday, falling 13-4. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Titans, who until this matchup were averaging four runs allowed.

Adi Comer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Eliza Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Olympus' defeat dropped their record down to 22-5. As for Box Elder, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-4 record this season.

Olympus does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Box Elder, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-5 loss against Salem Hills on the 21st.
