The biggest upset of the week belonged to Scotia-Glenville, who took down 195th ranked Averill Park, 34-22.
The Tartans moved up to 235 from 376 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 2 A - Southeast. Scotia-Glenville was able to make the jump by beating the Warriors 34-22.
Bishop Maginn's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Joey Deso threw for 120 and one touchdown and Derrek Thomas had 68 yards receiving. On the ground Stefphan Cohoon chipped in 63 yards. Dylan Storm helped Bishop Maginn's passing attack out by catching three balls for 37 yards.
Bishop Maginn's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Griffins feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Deso has thrown for 490 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Thomas has 17 catches for 369 yards. Kahree Langston leads the league in rushing with 266 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Mohonasen takes on Kevin Warren's team. As it stands, the Warriors are in fourth, while the Tartans are in second.
Troy took down the Griffins 40-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
